| Notes
for using RiteTemp 60xx series thermostats: |
|
|
|
| 1.
Reset must be pushed a=
fter
jumper changes or the changes will be ignored. |
|
|
| 2.
Reset wipes out ALL previous settings including time of day. |
|
|
| 3.
No Hi/Lo fan capability so put both fan wires together under the G termin=
al
for Hi fan speed only. |
|
|
| 4.
Tie off and insulate the +12volt wire from the A/C. it cannot be used.
| |
|
| 5. Touch Screens have software protection from "clumsy
fingers" so be sure to press a single point and don't let the
stylus/finger slide at all. If it does not respond, wait 10 seconds and t=
hen
use a stylus to press firmly in just one specific touch enabled area. |
|
| 6. The standoffs may be needed in some mounting locations to
allow better air circulation around the 60xx thermostats to give more
immediate sensing and temperature control. |

Notes: |

| 1. HS/HP wire controls Hea=
t/cool
switchover on A/C-Heat pump. On mine, it defaults to heating if not conne=
cted
so I had to connect it to O to have it work correctly. |
|
| 2. The
installation instructions are misleading on what is considered AUX heat. I
had to hook the FURNace wire to W2 (as 2nd stage heat) rather than as Aux=
to
have it work properly. |
